Everything a player needs to get from invited to at the table. Organisers: the full manual is inside the app under Help → Documentation.

Use Sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft or an email + password. Your first sign-in creates your account; approve it from the verification email if asked.

Can't get in? Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. If you signed up with Apple and hid your email, sign in with Apple again — the same Apple ID always opens the same account.

Two accounts? Sign in to the one you want to keep → My Profile → Connected Accounts lets you link the other sign-in method or combine the accounts.

2. Registering for a tournament

Open the tournament from the link you were sent or from Tournaments and tap Register. If your name is missing we ask for it right there.

Pending means the organiser has not approved you yet. Waitlist #n means the event is full — you move up automatically when a place opens.

Approved is your seat. If the tournament has an entry fee, the organiser tells you how to pay (Zelle, cash, at the door); you are marked Paid once they record it.

3. Find a Pair

Most GDF tournaments are played in pairs. Being approved is not the same as having a partner: open the Pairing screen, invite a partner or accept an invite. You will be reminded by email until you are paired. Come without a partner and the organiser will try to pair you at the venue — but places are not guaranteed.

4. Your GDF Player Pass

Once approved you get a Player Pass for that tournament (event page → 🎫 Player Pass, or the link in your approval email).

Complete the checklist — accept the rules, pay the fee — and it becomes ✓ Tournament Ready. The QR code unlocks.

Add to Apple Wallet / Google Wallet from the pass page. The wallet copy updates itself: it flips to Checked In at the venue and shows your table.

5. At the venue — ⚡ Fast Lane

Tournament Ready? Skip the registration line. Go to the ⚡ GDF Fast Lane, show your pass (phone or wallet), staff scan it — done in seconds. Everyone else — registration incomplete, fee unpaid, walk-ins — goes to Registration / Assistance, where the team sorts it out.

6. Playing

Open the Companion (event page → 📱, or add it to your home screen). It shows your next round, your table number, the countdown and live standings.

Turn on notifications in the Companion to be called to your table even with the phone in your pocket.

Score your own match from the Companion when the round is live; a judge is one tap away if there is a dispute.

Common questions

My email or name is wrong on the pass

My Profile → edit. Passes and wallet copies update on their own.

I paid but my pass still says Pending

Payments are recorded by the organiser. Show them your receipt at the venue; they mark you paid and your pass turns Tournament Ready on the spot.

Can family watch without an account?

Yes — GDF Live shows every match, result and standing publicly. Share the link or the QR at the venue.

Which wallet should I use?

Apple Wallet on iPhone, Google Wallet on Android (or on iPhone if you have the Google Wallet app). Both carry the same QR.

How do I delete my account or my data?

Email play@globaldomino.org from the address on your account. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept (competition results).
